Watercolours 1
The watercolour paintings in this gallery are all subjects painted in British locations. Several are pictures of Kent where Raymond lived for nearly 30 years. Other work was often the result of specialised painting holidays, frequently with the same group of artist friends, in localities that include Herefordshire, mid-Wales, Somerset and Cornwall. Watercolours from his travels abroad are featured in a separate gallery: Watercolours 2.
The largest pictures measure up to 12’’ x 16’’ but the majority are around 10’’ x 14’’. Only a few are smaller than this. Whilst the primary purpose of this website is to showcase Raymond’s work, his pictures can be purchased by using the contact details provided. As a guide, watercolours are priced between £400 and £1200.
